With the end of 2005 and beginning of 2006, bollywood lovers will get to view
many star awards functions hosted on several channels. The prestige of each of
these shows depends on how many stars perform and attend them.
Those fans who missed the King Khan, Shahrukh at a recent prominent award show,
need not worry as the mighty star will be performing at the Zee Cine Awards.
Shahrukh Khan will be performing on stage with a host of bollywood beauties like
Rani Mukherjee, Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta, Dia Mirza and Amrita Arora. The
performance will be a tribute to none other than the Yash Raj Films and a medley
of songs from various films of the Yash Raj banner will be played.
Each of the actresses will perform two numbers with Shahrukh, while the lucky
man will dance to all the numbers as well as with all the actresses. Apart from
this performance, Amrita will also be doing another performance with Riteish
Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor on a medley of love songs.
Amrita Arora is extremely excited to perform with Shahrukh as this is the first
time that she will be performing with him. However, her cricketer boyfriend will
not be able to watch her performances as he will be in Nagpur attending to work.
Amrita’s outfits for the event have been designed by Anna Singh.
Unfortunately, Abhishek Bachchan, who was also supposed to perform at the Zee
Cine Awards, will not be able to perform as he is down with viral flu. Abhishek
has cancelled his trip as his doctors have advised him against traveling. Along
with several disappointed fans, the entire Bachchan clan is also disappointed as
they were all going to watch Abhi’s performance together.
The Zee Cine Awards held in Mauritius and the show has hosted by Karan Johar and
Mallika Sherawat
